Execution
- AHC developed an interactive retirement modeller incorporating online learning techniques through video help.
- The modeller employed slider controls for speed, interactivity and ease of use.
- Results charts updated in real time to enhance the user experience.
- Video help was linked to the appropriate page the user was on and related to demographic inputs.
Outcomes
- Following extensive inhouse testing the modeller was deployed on the home page of the Plum website late 2008.
- Plum's financial advisers were delighted that they had a tool to use with members.
- Plum members have used the modeller to create and modify various scenarios which has helped with member education.
- Members have used the modeller to assist them in taking further action to manage their superannuation accounts.
