Expert communities
Now in its sixth year, Pensionweb is the largest online knowledge-sharing community of pension fund executives in the UK. We developed the site in response to comments from executives who didn’t have the time, or opportunities, to network with their peers.
The idea has really caught on and Pensionweb now has over 400 fund executives sharing ideas and saving time. This idea has also developed into other online communities, including Trusteeweb, Globalbenefitsweb and Superfund Community.
The Superfund Community provides a secure online arena for super fund managers and executives to discuss what is going on in the industry. Our online communities give members the opportunity to find out what issues other funds are facing, to carry out quick surveys to gauge people’s opinions and to test out new ideas. These features allow members of the site to save both time and money by providing an area to converse with many peers without leaving their desk, therefore reducing any professional adviser fees.
