ActionScript Developer

We're on the lookout for great ActionScript developers to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining web applications and financial modelling tools. You'll be flexible and open to learning new technologies required to satisfy changing demands. You'll be comfortable working to tight deadlines in a dynamic, client driven environment.

With offices in the UK and Australia, we have over 50 large clients. Our culture is open and supportive. You will have excellent opportunities for career and personal development including the opportunity to spend some time working in the UK Head Office - a grade 1 listed building situated in the idyllic yorkshire village of Heath.

Requirements

  • Excellent ActionScript 3 knowledge
  • Flex experience
  • Strong front-end development experience
  • Strong grasp of software engineering principles and best practices
  • Self-sufficient but happy working under the guidance of other developers, following the team's conventions and processes

Desirable

  • Confident with HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Experience of working with Ruby on Rails
  • SVN
  • Willingness for global travel

Bonus points

  • HTML5/CSS3
  • iOS and/or Android
  • PureMVC
